The South Tyrolean Sommelier Association

The Sommelier Association South Tyrol is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to qualify and enhance the figure and profession of the sommelier and to promote, support and, above all, communicate the wine culture in South Tyrol.

For more than 40 years, the Sommelier Association South Tyrol has developed from being the sole provider of courses to a professional and structured training center.

The Sommelier Association South Tyrol is supported by a well-trained, professionally competent and committed team.

Course level 1

Available

In this first course, which comprises a total of 15 lessons, you will learn the basics, including viticulture and cellar technology, tasting methods and service techniques, the tasks and job description of a sommelier, etc.. The use of the right glasses is also on the program, as is the management of a wine cellar.
