The Sommelier Association South Tyrol is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to qualify and enhance the figure and profession of the sommelier and to promote, support and, above all, communicate the wine culture in South Tyrol.
For more than 40 years, the Sommelier Association South Tyrol has developed from being the sole provider of courses to a professional and structured training center.
Wine is an ancient cultural asset, which is historically, culturally, scenically and touristically of utmost importance for our country.
The knowledge and understanding of wine in general and of South Tyrolean wine in particular increases professional opportunities in the gastronomy sector and is also a personal and cultural enrichment.
Our target group includes not only employees and entrepreneurs in the gastronomy sector, but is also aimed at wineries, the specialized trade and all wine enthusiasts and everyone else interested in wine.
To this end, the Sommelier Association South Tyrol has a well-trained, professionally competent and committed team at its side, which has been dealing with the subject of wine for many years.
