    The sensory test: the tasting technique and the AIS terminology. The analytical descriptive table and the points table.

    Wine tasting: Tasting of an aromatic wine, a young red wine of the last vintage and a mature, full-bodied red wine (at least 3-4 years). Use of both tables.

    Distribution of the vine and wine in the world; growing areas, grape varieties and wines in: California, Chile, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

  • Lesson XV

    Class work and in-depth tasting

    Written examination and tasting based on the points and analytical scale; joint correction; consolidation of the most important arguments and the tasting technique.
    Tasting of a white wine and a red wine by the participants.

    Guided tasting of a wine of excellent quality using both tasting tables.
